Reading Patch Club
Sign up at the Dundee Library or the Randall Oaks Branch!
Kids can wear their love of reading on their sleeve (or their backpack, jeans, or jacket!) by participating in the Reading Patch Club. The club invites children in preschool through eighth grade to read their favorite books and explore the library for new ones, which earns them patches.
Preschoolers through second graders can earn patches in the following categories: general-humor, fantasy, animals, adventure, bedtime, school, book award, sports, and outdoors. They must read, or have read to them, 20 books in a category to receive a patch.
Third through eighth graders can earn patches in: fantasy, animals, mystery, book award, outdoors, scary/ghost, graphic novel, school, and sports. They must read ten books in a category to receive a patch. The club runs through May 25.
For more information contact the Children’s Desk, (847) 428-3661, press 2.
