Job Opening - Library Director

Custodian - Facilities Department

24 hours/bi-weekly: two nights per week, 7-11pm, and an alternate weekend shift 7-11am on Saturday and Sunday
Salary: $13.00 per hour

The Fox River Valley Public Library District is in need of a part-time maintenance person to do light cleaning, set up meeting rooms, and perform routine maintenance to the building and grounds. We are seeking a team player who possesses strong customer service skills, has an abundance of energy, and is available to work a varied schedule.

The successful applicant will have:

  • the ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • knowledge of different cleaning products and tools
  • time-management and multi-tasking abilities
  • organizations skills
  • ability to work with minimal supervision


Educational Requirements:  High school diploma or GED

Prior commercial custodial work a plus
