Stately Music

Illinois’s bicentennial is December 3, 2018, so the state is celebrating all year long. In honor of great Illinois music, here are some album suggestions, ranging from traditional tunes to popular artists who originally hail from our state (or just write about it). Read more about the program and register here.

Go Cubs Go

Baseball season is just around the corner, and once the Cubs start playing I am ready to get into summer mode. Sure, we might still be wavering between winter and spring right now, but call me an optimist. Baseball means sunny days, enjoying a beer and a hot dog in the Friendly Confines. I'm sure I'm not alone in looking forward to those days.
