Join us on Wednesday March 7, 2018 for a fascinating program about some of the amazing women of Chicago’s past and present. While you’re waiting, check out these books. Not all of these women will be profiled in the program, but they're all inspiring and have links to Chicago. Come to the Information desk for more suggestions to keep you reading during Women’s History Month, and register for Hell Hath No Fury: The Wild, Wicked, and Wonderful Women of the Windy City to learn more about these incredible women.

Since Valentine’s Day is coming, I wanted to highlight an artist who has written some of my favorite love songs of late. Jason Isbell is a singer songwriter with a folky-country bent, think Townes Van Zandt, Ryan Adams, or Patterson Hood (of Isbell’s former band Drive-By-Truckers). He frequently collaborates with his wife, violinist and fellow singer-songwriter, Amanda Shires, who is the inspiration for many of his most romantic songs.
Valentine's Day is approaching and the love of reading is everywhere at the Fox River Valley Public Libraries! Our staff LOVES to see patrons enjoying the library's environment and resources. We want to hear what you love about the library!
In the Dundee Library Youth Services Department and the Randall Oaks Library, we have provided hearts for you to write or draw something you love about the library to be displayed.
