Local Yearbooks

The local yearbooks can be found at the Dundee Library. Please stop by the Adult and Teen Services desk if you have any questions about this collection. You can also call 847-428-3661 and request the Adult and Teen Services desk, or email us at LibraryHelp@frvpld.info.

This collection is comprised of 106‡ local high school yearbooks. More specifically, 65 of these are from Dundee Community High school and 16 are from Irving Crown High School. In 1983, these two schools combined and became Dundee-Crown High school. The remaining  yearbooks are from there. Dundee Community High School opened in 1864 but the first yearbook wasn’t published until 1914. Irving Crown High School was built in 1965 and that building is still used for high school today. In 1983, the Dundee Community High School and Irving Crown High School combined into 1 school (using the Irving Crown building) and became the Dundee-Crown High School.
