I enjoy reading romance novels and have been taking advantage of downloading eBooks from the library to find new authors and series. I am drawn to stories with electric chemistry, quick banter, strong heroines, and a plot line that takes me away from reality. I'm currently making my way through Maisey Yates' Copper Ridge books, a contemporary western series set in a small Oregon town; Joanna Shupe's The Four Hundred (#1: A Daring Arrangement) and Uptown Girls (#1: The Rogue of Fifth Avenue), both set in Gilded Age New York City; and the historical regency Ravenels series by Lisa Kleypas (#1: Cold-Hearted Rake). I'm reading as much as I can while I bide my time waiting for the publication of Daring and the Duke by Sarah MacLean, the Queen Author of Historical Fiction as far as I'm concerned. I've been dying to read the final book in her Bareknuckle Bastards series since I devoured Brazen and the Beast last summer. In this post I'm focusing on new romance eBooks/eAudiobooks across several subgenres available on Hoopla, because these books are immediately available.
