Preschools

Welcome to our Preschool and Daycare Resource List. FRVPLD realizes that early childhood education is an essential building block in a child’s future success. We know that parents and families are busy and might not have the time to visit and call all the options available to them. We organize a Preschool and Daycare Fair every year, along with this list of contact information, to help families by bringing these community resources together in one place. Please let us know if there are any other ways we can support your child’s educational growth.

Other Preschools and Day Care Centers in the area include the Centre of Elgin Preschool, Einstein Academy, Elgin Academy, The Goddard School, Immanuel Lutheran School, Kindercare - Sleepy Hollow, Littlest Disciples Preschool - First Congregational Church of Dundee, and Opus Montessori.

  • Our Nature Explore Classroom helps the children learn to be comfortable in the outdoors and love God’s creation. We encourage learning about nature and science in the NEC and in our indoor classrooms.
  • Development of the foundational academic skills is achieved through hands-on, play-based, developmentally appropriate learning centers referencing on Howard Gardner’s multiple intelligences model and Piaget’s constructivist learning methods.
