WHAT IS IT? 

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library was created to inspire a love of reading and learning among preschool children. The program offers children from birth to age 5 a free, age-appropriate book every month until their fifth birthday.

 

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Children from birth to age 5 who live in Kane County. Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is made available to Kane County residents through the Fox Valley United Way and many generous donors.

 

HOW DO CHILDREN ENROLL?  

A parent or guardian may register their child online via the Fox Valley United Way (link here), pick up an application at the Fox River Valley Public Library, or download a registration form to return to the Library. Completed print applications may be returned to the Library and will be forwarded to Fox Valley United Way for approval.
