Fox River Valley Public Library District belongs to two programs that offer passes to select Illinois cultural attractions, including museums, zoos, gardens, and more.
Partner organizations offer benefits such as free admission or special discounts to pass holders. Passes are free to library card holders; some restrictions apply.
Brookfield Zoo (Museum Adventure Pass)
World-renowned, Brookfield Zoo inspires guests through extraordinary connections with animals, nature and each other. Set within a 216-acre nature park, the zoo has captivated and educated visitors since 1934. Admits 2.
Chicago Botanic Garden (Explore More Illinois)
The Chicago Botanic Garden opened 50 years ago as a beautiful place to visit, and it has matured into one of the world’s great living museums and conservation science and learning centers. In caring for plants, we believe that both people and plants thrive. As green space shrinks and lives grow ever more stressful, the Chicago Botanic Garden’s role in connecting people to plants is more important than ever. Free admission for four individuals (adult and children), and free parking for one car.
Discovery Center Museum (Explore More Illinois)
Discovery Center Museum is a hands-on children's science museum with more than 300 exciting interactive exhibits spread throughout 23,000 square feet on two floors. All our exhibits relate to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math). Exhibit galleries focus on the human body, forms of electricity, the science of sports, space travel, simple machines, communication, agriculture, color and light, and math.
