Library will be closed on November 11

The Library will be closed on November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. We will reopen on November 12 during regular business hours.

Boundless app closure

Due to the sudden closure of Baker & Taylor, the Boundless app that supports the eRead Illinois collection is being discontinued. While a transition of this scale would normally take several months, we are working quickly to ensure as little disruption as possible to your digital reading experience.

Over the coming weeks, the entire eRead Illinois collection will be moved to a new, long-term platform: The Palace Project app. This innovative service will provide enhanced access to e-books and audiobooks, allowing users to connect content from multiple platforms in one place. The Palace Marketplace also offers improved licensing options for libraries and includes access to Audible audiobook titles.

Thank you for your patience as we navigate this unexpected change. We appreciate your support and remain committed to providing seamless access to digital materials.

Event Details

REGISTRATION FOR BANDS IS CLOSED. We have all of our slots filled. Please register below if you want to be part of the audience!

Whether you're a singer-songwriter, a band, or a hip hop artist, all are invited to compete for the title of Best Artist! You may perform up to two songs within a ten-minute set limit. A group of expert judges will award points to performers. There will be a first, second, and third place winner! All genres are welcome. Bring your fans!

LAS INSCRIPCIONES PARA LOS ARTISTAS YA ESTÁN CERRADAS. Si deseas ser parte de la audiencia, dejanos tu nombre, tel o email en la parte de abajo. 

Si eres cantante, rapero, o formas parte de una banda, ¡estás invitado a competir por el título de Mejor Artista! Cada intérprete tocará 2 canciones dentro de un límite de diez minutos, y un grupo de jueces expertos otorgará puntos de acuerdo a las habilidades musicales. ¡Habrá ganador de primer, segundo, y tercer lugar! Todos los géneros musicales son bienvenidos. ¡Trae a tus fans!
