A representative from Kane County Health Department will discuss radon, a colorless, odorless, radioactive gas that occurs naturally in many homes within the county. Radon exposure is the second-leading cause of lung cancer after smoking. Learn about prevention, mitigation, and how to test your own home. Radon reduction systems work & are not too costly. Installing a mitigation system reduces indoor radon levels.
