Event Details

Lets get outside and look for signs of spring.  Even though the weather may or may not be warming up, things are happening out in the wild.  We'll start indoors with a short discussion about what we will see on our walk, then we'll head outside to walk the .68 mile look through Wahoo Woods Open Area, located immediately behind the library.  We'll learn to identify plants by things other than their leaves. Time and weather permitting, we can head off track to explore the hidden lake.  Afterward, we can head back indoors to warm up with some hot chocolate and snacks while we discuss what we saw.
