Every year, the American Library Association (ALA) and the Office for Intellectual Freedom (OIF) track the number of bans and challenges to books (as well as other materials and programs) throughout the country and showcase that data in an annual Banned Books Week.
Jimmy Buffet, that Son of a Son of a Sailor, passed away on September 1. The official release from his estate indicated “Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs.
FRVPLD BATTLE OF THE BANDS 2023
We are so excited to host our first ever Battle of the Bands! Join us for a fun musical event Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 1-3pm at the Dundee Library's Meeting Room (Lower Level). Three professionals will be joining us as our judges.

The Dundee Library is honored to host a traveling exhibition entitled Confronting Violence: Improving Women’s Lives/Enfrentando la violencia, mejorando la vida de las mujeres. The bilingual banners are now on display at the Dundee Library through September 9.
